Galileo is a multi-tenant platform that is built on the latest technology stack. It runs on our fully managed cloud infrastructure that is highly scalable, available and secure.

Data and Security

Our enterprise-grade cloud solutions are run on a multi-tenant platform designed with security in mind and best-in-class encryption technologies to protect data.

Based on the ISO 27001 standard, our security architecture and data-centres are subject to regular vulnerability security scans and application penetration tests by 3rd party security specialists. Our services are audited annually to SSAE16 SOC standards and are fully compliant with EU GDPR legislations.

Our services are designed to achieve high availability >99.9%, and we annually test our Disaster Recovery (DR) capability to ensure our service can continue in the case of a major disaster affecting our primary production datacentre.

Document Distribution and storage

Our Galileo platform comes with secure storage to house trade documents used in transactions. Users can upload, manage, or receive documents from external parties and systems like carriers, corporate ERP systems.

To keep documents secure, we use secure hashing algorithms whilst maintaining both the originality and authenticity of customer documents.

Authenticity

Bolero Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) improves security by requiring two-step authentication to access the Galileo platform. We also support multiple authenticators including Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Bolero’s desktop-based authenticator.

2FA applies to Bolero users when logging in or executing transactions to allow our users to conduct their business in the most secure way using our state-of-the-art security technology.
